Kidney Interrupted – Thank You, Lord, for the Young-Uns!

As hard-headed and determined as I think I am, it’s always a surprise to find out that may not be the way I appear in public! The one trying to make one trip with arms loaded, the one used to grabbing things from a top shelf for somebody, the one rushing to hold a door, I now get offers of help from younger, taller and stronger uh, um, oh well, Im just gonna say it –

KIDS.

Everyone is starting to look like a kid to me! Even older folks look younger to me.

I still get to help others but more and more…well, you know. It’s a tricky double-edged sword kind of thing. 😂

Makes me happy as pie and weirded out at the same time. But, Im coming around to it and embracing it as a new “It must be my turn” experience. I’m proud of the small town TN area I live in for producing such polite, considerate young men and ladies. Maybe it’s a TN thing. You know, Nashville HAS been voted the Friendliest City in the U.S. a few times.

Do any of you guys notice changes in your interactions with the younger bunch? All I know is I Thank the Lord for the young-uns everyday!

Be thankful and let them help! 💚
