Kidney Interrupted – A Few No-No’s for the Fragile Kidney

This is a reminder post of the many over the counter meds that can cause damage to ailing kidneys. I’m so thankful to have this list my nephrologist gave me at the beginning of my journey. *As this is a generic guide for those with CKD, I highly recommend asking your own nephrologist for a list.

I've had this list quite some time and have a feeling some of these might not be on the market. Next month, at my regular appointment at Vanderbilt, I'll see if there's an updated version. If so, I'll revise this post.

And, as always, you're always welcome to comment or respond to this post! Maybe you have something similar to share? I would absolutely love to hear from you!

Take care guys! 💚
